What's it all about then?
Last year Bungay Cherry Tree Angling club hosted the "Hey lets go fishing" event as part of National Fishing week. It was a great success and all who came had a really good day out. Its purpose is to give everyone a chance to have a go at fishing and promote the junior section of the club. It is sponsored by the Environment Agency who provide free fishing equipment for the event and this year we have the local youth club involved and our community officers.

So if
your lads or daughters are bugging you to take them fishing or
you fancy a go yourself, then here is a golden opportunity to help you become better anglers
.
Having a session with a
professional trained fishing coach will enable you to learn all
you need to go fishing safely
and successfully. You will be taught how to handle fish correctly and the
correct way to fish for them. NFA national federation of anglers coaches are
trained to a high standard and are the ideal way to get you or your
kids up to speed on there fishing skills. Those taking part will all get a
training session with the coach and free starter pack to get them fishing plus
the chance to join a great fishing club with a host of waters to fish. Young
or old if you want to learn to fish this is the main event to come to this year.
The Bungay angling club has been established for over 63 years in the town and has a fine record of encouraging and supporting youngsters in the art of fishing. So please come along with your kids and give them the encouragement they need to become better safer anglers.
Places are limited and all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult so book early to avoid disappointment To book your place contact the Secretary Mark Casto.
