Go fishing event 2008 Matthews perch All smiles with the first fish Mums can catch fish to! Fishing is fun

Blazing hot sunshine, a record attendance and a brilliant day learning how to catch fish with the Bungay Cherry Tree angling club coaches. A truly wonderful day! everyone who came along said how much they had learned and how much they had enjoyed themselves. Not only did they learn how to catch fish from our Level 2 angling coaches Derek Potter, Graeme Binks(Level1) and Eric Peak and Gary Peppercorn (well done lads for not passing out in the sweltering heat) but also on hand was Graham Gamble Environment Agency officer and Brett our local community policeman. For many this was there first attempt at fishing and as you can see from the happy faces they all really enjoyed themselves and are determined to carry on fishing with the help of the clubs coaches and dedicated staff. At the end of there training session they all received a great DVD on how to start fishing and a free whip and starter pack from the Environment Agency everything they need to take up the fascinating sport of angling. Like they say a picture paints a thousand words so here are the pictures from the day click on them for a larger image. Enjoy, and remember if you missed this event and need help with your fishing just email mark@bctac.co.uk and we can get give you all the help you need. Tight lines everyone and thank you all for your hard work and support. Mark.

Hope I got you all folks thanks for coming and carry on fishing!
