Presented by Bowtells hardware store in Bungay which used to belong to a Charles Bowtell.

Bungay Angling Centre Trophy

Donated by Bob Cunningham who used to run a tackle shop in Bungay and was a vice president of the club.

The Challenge cup or Sprake cup

Presented by Robert Sprake early club member.The cup was fished for in 3 rounds but now only for one.

The Charity Cup

An old cup fished for in the early days of the clubs history for charitys and worthy causes.

The Charlish Cup

Donated by Robert Charlish the owner of the orginal garage at the back of the old bus station in Bungay.

Fodders Pairs Trophy

Presented to the sea fishing section by Malcom Fodder.

George Howard with the Howard Trophy

George presented this trophy to the club to be fished for in Pole only matches.

Presented by Jinxy, life long friend of John Wilson and a great angler in his own right.

The Myhill Cup

This cup replaced the Lacon cup which was lost and was donated by a Mr George Hedges in honour of his freind Marcus Myhill

Rose Baldry and the Charity Cup

Rose won the cup in the early days of the club and her father Bob Olley was the man who started the Bungay Angling club in 1947.

The Rowland Cup

Donated by Fred Rowland vice president and chairman of the club in past years. Fred was a local hairdresser in Bungay.

Sam Patrick Trophy

Presented to the club by our president Sam Patrick

The Searle Cup

Donated by Sam Searle vice president of the club many years ago and a water baliff for the EA at the time.

The Suffolk Championship Cup

A grand old trophy presented to the club by a Mr Huddelstone who was wealthy gent from yorkshire who would travel down and stay for the fishing with Bob Olley.

The Roach Cup

Possibly the finest of all our cups in terms of its history.Presented by Geoff Buck in 1947 for the biggest Roach caught.Get your name on this and thats something you can be very proud of.

The Waveney Cup

According to George Howard this cup was presented to the club by a Mr Fred Hadley from the Ongar angling club in Essex to be fished as a challange cup between clubs.

Beccles Cup

Sea fishing cup in the care of Malcom Fodder our seamatch fishing secretary

The Runicals Trophy / sea fishing

This trophy we bought in memory of John who sadly died a few years back but a loyal member until he became ill and could no longer join us and sadly missed

Match Man of the year trophy

Presented to the club by Tony Cooper a former match secretary with the club who came from Gorleston.

The Paul (Waffles) Gaffney Memorial Trophy

Donated by Mr Gaffney in memory of his son Paul.

The Hadley-Nicholls Trophy

Donated to the club by Fred Hadley and Eric Nicholls to anglers from Chelmsford who fished with Bungay AC for ten years and were good freinds of Eric Brighton founder member.
