people who do things, are people who get things done!

We meet every Saturday 10-3pm down at the club pit, that's right every Saturday.

This is a joint effort by young and old, all club member who want to help us are welcome. Our aim is to make the club pit the best its ever been and you can help us achieve this all you have to do is  spare a few hours on a Saturday and join us.

Here's a map showing how to find the club pit if your not sure or have never been there yet.

Please bring:

Garden gloves, bow saws, cutters, pruners, strimmers, spades, (chainsaws if you know how to use one and are trained only please) and also bring with you rakes for raking the ground. We will be cutting away dead trees, clearing the ground and moving soil, pruning bushes and burning old wood branches etc, there is lots to do and we need you down there, we already have a good team of workers but we still need more the more we have the quicker the work will get done.

If your a handy man or a just want to help then we want to hear from you. Why not bring some teabags, biscuits,  bacon butties, burgers and sarnies and join in its all good fun and good exercise and we all have a good time so come on don't just sit there twiddling your thumbs come on down and give us a hand.

Here's a few pictures of what's been done so far but there a lot more going on then this so come down and join us.

Paths are being cleared trees are being copsed bramble and weeds removed swims being rebuilt dead trees removed and much much more is going on right now. This is an all year round project a big effort by all club members to reshape the club pit and make it the best its ever been. You can be a part of it all just come down and join us all the number is steadily growing each week but we still need more of you to help. Its fun its healthy and its a good chance to meet and socialize with other club members so what are you waiting for get your self down there on Saturday and be sure to bring some burgers teabags and work tools.
