The agenda will included in the published news letter that will be sent out to all club members a few weeks before the meeting. Please make every effort to attend as this will your chance to elect new officers and committee members as well as the presentation of the club trophies and other important club matters. Election of new Disability Angling Officer. Other news the committee have agreed to have a new disability officer elected at the AGM the man in question is Gary Bull from Gorleston himself a disabled angler who is also a level 1 angling coach and going on to obtain his level 2 coaching certificate. It is hoped that having a disabled officer in the club along with the new disabled angling platforms that are going up at Falcon meadows will open up new opportunities to those with disabilities for fishing coaching and volunteer work. Club Waters. Work will soon begin at Falcon Meadows and Dunburgh sections by the EA and BESL (broad land environmental services) This will lead to much greater access and improvements on these sections with plans for angling platforms and parking areas in the pipe line. Our fishery officer Geoff Kirman and club officials will be working towards getting the otter fencing plans in place for the lay by pit so there is much to do and look forward to this coming season. We are seeking volunteer for this work so if you can help please contact Lloyd and Sam our volunteer organisers( there contact details are in your club books on page 5) who will take your name and get in contact with you when work begins. Broome Bank section Broome bank section is still undergoing further investigation and correspondence with the owners as access to it is restricted at the moment. The flooding rivers have prevented access for a time but the main problem is a big tree stump blocking the path down to the 3rd gate after entering the first and second gate. This was put in place by the local farmer to stop travellers from returning but still remains. Our fishery officer Geoff Kirman is dealing with this issue and there will be more news on the section at our Annual General meeting on the 23rd of April so if you like fishing this section or want to find out more please attend so we can hear from you or email mark@bctac.co.uk for further information.
